Data engineering and pipelines
Batch and streaming pipelines, ingestion from operational systems, data modelling, quality checks and orchestration.
ap0t is a founder-led software engineering studio based in India that delivers worldwide, led by Vicky Paswan, a founding engineer specialising in Rust and distributed systems. We provide enterprise Python development: data pipelines and platforms, machine-learning and LLM applications, and FastAPI or Django backends, engineered with the testing, observability and performance discipline of production systems.
Python is the default language for data and AI, which is exactly why so many Python systems stall between prototype and production. A notebook that works for one analyst becomes a fragile pipeline; a model that scored well in testing has no monitoring, no retraining and no owner.
Enterprise Python development closes that gap. It means typed, tested code, reproducible environments, pipelines that recover from failures, models with evaluation and monitoring, and APIs that perform under real load.
Work with us when you need a data platform built properly, an ML or LLM application taken to production, a Python backend that has to scale, or performance problems solved without abandoning the Python ecosystem.
Batch and streaming pipelines, ingestion from operational systems, data modelling, quality checks and orchestration.
Warehouse or lakehouse architecture, semantic layers and the data foundations behind BI and reporting.
Feature pipelines, training and evaluation, model registry, deployment and monitoring for drift and performance.
Retrieval-augmented generation over your documents and data, AI assistants and agents with tool use, evaluation and guardrails.
Typed APIs and web backends with authentication, background jobs, caching and observability, designed to scale.
Profiling and speeding up Python services, with hot paths moved into Rust through PyO3 when needed.
Every program starts small and proves value before it grows.
Review of data sources, current code and infrastructure, a target architecture and a phased plan with clear success measures.
One pipeline, model or application taken all the way to production, with monitoring and documentation.
Further pipelines, models and services built on the same foundations, with shared tooling and standards.
Monitoring, retraining, cost optimisation and new use cases on a retainer or as scoped phases.
We treat Python like any production language: type hints checked in CI, Pydantic models at system boundaries, unit and integration tests, pinned and reproducible environments, and container images built the same way for every environment.
Data and ML work is versioned and reproducible: data quality checks run before data is used, experiments and models are tracked, and every model in production has an evaluation baseline and a monitoring dashboard.
Where Python is too slow, we don't rewrite everything. We profile, optimise the code, use vectorised libraries such as Polars, and move the critical paths into Rust behind a Python interface.
Every engagement is scoped after a paid discovery, because the right size depends on your processes, systems and goals. Programs range from focused pilots to multi-year builds with dedicated teams.
Discovery is a fixed fee. Each delivery phase is then priced as a fixed scope or as a monthly dedicated-team retainer, with a written estimate, assumptions and risks agreed before work starts. You can pause or stop between phases, and you keep everything that has been built.
Enterprise Python development covers building production-grade software in Python: data pipelines and platforms, machine-learning and LLM applications, and backend services and APIs, delivered with testing, documentation, monitoring and security practices suitable for business-critical systems.
Yes. We turn notebooks and prototypes into reproducible pipelines and services with evaluation, deployment, monitoring and retraining, so the model keeps working after launch and someone can own it.
Yes. We build retrieval-augmented generation over your documents and data, AI assistants and agents that use tools, and the evaluation, guardrails and cost controls that make them reliable in production. We work with hosted models and with open models running in your own cloud.
FastAPI suits typed, high-performance APIs and services; Django suits applications that need an admin interface, a mature ORM and many built-in features. We recommend one based on your use case and team, and often use both in the same platform.
Most Python performance problems are solved by better architecture, caching, asynchronous I/O and vectorised libraries. Where a hot path still needs native speed, we move just that part into Rust and call it from Python, keeping the rest of your code unchanged.
Yes. We can lead a project end to end or embed senior engineers in your data team, setting up standards, tooling and reviews that your team keeps using after we hand over.
Tell us what you're planning. You'll hear back within one business day, and we can sign an NDA before you share details.
