Your Attachment Style:
About Attachment Theory
Developed by John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth, attachment theory explains how we bond with others. Your style is formed in childhood but can evolve. The four main styles are:
- Secure: Comfortable with intimacy and independence.
- Anxious-Preoccupied: Craves intimacy, fears abandonment.
- Dismissive-Avoidant: Prioritizes independence, uncomfortable with emotions.
- Fearful-Avoidant (Disorganized): Desires closeness but fears it.
