The average human hearing range is 20Hz to 20,000Hz (20kHz). However, the upper limit decreases with age.

Why can't I hear high frequencies?

If you can't hear sounds above 15kHz or 16kHz, it's likely due to age-related hearing loss or limitations of your speakers/headphones.
